Guys, I'm worried .... bad injury??!!?? *worries like heck*
OH MY GOD. THIS HAPPENED AT THE MINNEAPOLIS SHOW AT THE ORPHEUM ON SEPTEMBER 24TH :D The show was absolutely amazing. They did all my favourite dances: Sexy Love, Tranji, Sexyback, WE CAN'T STOP THE BEAT OMG I HYPERVENTALATED AT THIS ONE, and Travis and Heidi's bench contemporary one (which got a standing ovation). It was just all so good. The disco number they did was so awesome, I was just screaming at the top of my lungs. The lady beside me was a dummy and kept glaring and huffing at me but I was like shut up, go home. Dimitry had his shirt off for most of it, ughfjhf. I'm not a huge fan. I got a few good pictures and some realllllllllly good videos but our camera broke halfway through. I cried a bit because it was just so awful, but I got over it pretty fast because ...here's what happened. Whitney and Jen went to the main floor to buy souvenirs and stuff so Melissa, my sister and I stayed on the second floor just chatting with the security gaurd and waiting for them. We started to beg him to let us meet the cast but he was just like, "No, only 50 VIPs are meeting them and some of them paid a lot of money." So I was pouting about how I was wearing my "I'm meeting Travis" dress and he was laughing at us. So then my sister goes down to look for Whitney and Jen and 10 minutes later the elevator opens and my sister was like, "TAMARA GET OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!" So I ran over and into the elevator and RIGHT INTO DIMITRY. They were all in there. Turns out when my sister took the elevator down, the whole cast was getting on and they were like, "Come with us!" so she did, OBVIOUSLY. So I'm standing in the elevator, Ivan and Travis 2 feet from me and trying not to have a conniption and remain calm. We all got off and I talked to Natalie first - she was so, so sweet. I told her I loved her and she said it back to me in Greek, haha. She is gorgeous and so nice and friendly and she was so excited when we said we were from Canada. Next was Heidi. She is so, so tiny in person. Like a polly pocket. I'm only 5'3 and she was a good 3-5 inches shorter than me. She was so friendly and adorable and bubbly and we told her we loved her and she kept telling us how cute we were and how excited she was we came all the way from Canada. Aw, I loved her. NEXT UP WAS TRAVISOGFKMNKDFM. I almost passed out. My hands were shaking so bad and I kind of popped up beside him and was like, "HEY! I saw your Dr. Pepper commercial." WTF. Who says that. I felt like such a loser but he was like, "Ooooh cool! I was like 9 there, so young!" And he signed my ticket 'To Tamara, Love Travis'. He is so good looking in person - he was wearing a union jack shirt and jeans and white sneakers and his hair was so perfect and soft (yeah, I ran my fingers through it), and he was about an inch taller than me. He was so hot, I was dying. He gave me a really tight squeeze, aw. And then there was Ivan. He is SO TALL. And gangly. And cute. He was really nice too, asking where we were from and signing all our stuff. He was kind of distracted though because it turns out all the other VIPS were friends and family. It was supposed to be on the third floor but when they got out on the second floor and started talking to us they moved everyone down there with us. It was so crazy and random. We were just in the right place at the right time. Anyway, I told Ivan I loved him on Ellen and him and Travis kept going, "OH, ELLEN!" and then Travis started talking about this answering machine ...? I don't know. Thennn there was Allison. She wasn't very friendly and while she was signing our stuff she was talking to some other people. But she was really cute. I was kind of dissapointed because she was my favourite out of the girls, but what can you do. We were the only fans in that whole meet and greet - the rest were friends and family so I understood. We talked a bit about High School Musical, and that's about all. Dimitry was next. He was wearing a white hoodie zipped down with no shirt underneath, lol. He hugged me and signed my ticket, blahblahblah. He was really charming but 5 minutes later he started making out with some random girl I assume was his girlfriend. Just in front of everyone. Awkward. We talked to Ryan next. He was never one of my favourites but he was so, so nice and he gave really good hugs and he was just a total sweetheart. We just made small talk though, because Travis was a foot away from me and I was distracted, haha. And then suddenly there was screaming and I knew BENJI had arrived. I was freaking out. We made our way over and OH MY LORD he is so cute in person. He was wearing this blue t-shirt and tweed pants and polka dot Vans that he wore in the Hairspray dance. My friend had the same ones and she told him and he was like, "Haha! I didn't know if they were boys or girls - but I have no shame, I'M A DANCER!" it was so cute. He was so friendly and giddy and I told him I was so happy they did the Broadway dance and he was like, "OOOH! Thanks! I hurt my knee really bad, it's the size of a grapefruit." He gave me a hug and OMG HE SMELLED AMAZING. We told him and he was just laughing and wafting it at us, aww. And then he signed my ticket, "To Tamara, I love CANUCKS, Love Benji". I was so sad we didn't have a camera at that moment :[ And as we were leaving I was like, "Can I have one more hug for the road? Is that creepy?" and he was like, "NOOOO! Why would that be creepy! Come here!" and he hugged my really tight and was rubbing my bakvccjvkdssdl. I was so happy. BTW, the whole left side of my dress smells of him. Ugfhjhf. Then we went back to talk to Travis and we talked to him for about 15 minutes. First we asked where they were going next and he said Detroit and I was like, "Where's that exactly?" and he just stared at me and was like, "OH YEAH! You guys are from CANADA!" and then Jen made a map in the air and was trying to ask him where Detroit was on it and he was laughing and making crazy hand motions trying to show us, we were all giggling like school girls by the end. He was so friendly. He asked us where Winnipeg was and we said it was in the prairies and were like, "Come visit!" and he was like, "Uhh, I don't think so!" And he said he hadn't been home since May, poor kid. And then he was like, "Too bad you guys couldn't vote, hey?" and I was like, "I voted in my mind!" and he was like, "Oh thanks! A lot of good that did!" and I made a really pouty face and he was like, "Aww! I'm kidding" and he hugged me and was stroking my hair and face, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH@#@##^%$#@%# So then he was like, "Thank you guys so much for coming here, you're amazing. Drive safe, okay?" WHAT A CUTE BOY. He actually said bye about 8 times but then he'd start up a whole new conversation and we'd all be off again, loll. I forgot this part: my sister asked him if it hurts when he does that bench sliding in his contemporary with Heidi and he was like, "No, it's rounded! Well actually, it shouldn't hurt but I have a back injury, so now it does!" Awwwww.
donyelle wasn't there. i met jaymz too. but yeah, travis said that donyelle had just gotten over a bad injury and didn't perform in a couple of their shows.
